This circular route around St. Michael can be hiked in different routes – from easy to difficult. Depending on the chosen route, the walking time is between 1 and 3 hours with a stop at Neuhauser-Stadl.
Secret Santa trail
Gontal – Pritzhütte
The start of this easy winter hike is at the Katschberg Pass, which is also easily reached by ski bus. On the approx. 4 km long route you can enjoy the snow-covered landscape and the peace and quiet in the snow for about 1-2 hours, and you can fortify yourself with a tasty snack in the Pritzhütte. And if your legs are too heavy for the way back, you can also go back by horse-drawn carriage.
High altitude hiking trail
Sonnenhang Speiereck
This easy path at an altitude of almost 2000 metres can be reached with the Sonnenbahn gondola on the Speiereck. With a maximum gradient of 5% and a length of 3 kilometres it is a real pleasure for young and old. It connects the Peterbauer-Alm and the Panorama-Alm, both of which await your guests with sunny terraces.
